How To Get
BY AIR
You can arrive in Peru through diverse international airlines with direct flights or stops through the principal cities of Europe, Asia and America, arriving at “International Airport Jorge Chavez” in the city of Lima, capital of Peru. In addition to Lima, the airports of Cusco, Iquitos and Arequipa offer flights to some countries in South America. From Lima you can make a national or domestic flight connection. Keep in mind that flights to Cusco depart between 6:00 a.m. and 11 a.m.
- From North America there are direct flights to Lima, Peru. In United States these flights depart from New York; Atlanta, Georgia; Miami, Florida; Houston, Texas and Los Angeles, California. From Canada these flights depart from Toronto. The principal airlines that offer these services are: American Airlines, Delta, Continental Airlines, Spirit and Lan.
- From Europe there are direct flights from Madrid, Spain; Paris, France and Amsterdam, Netherlands with the airlines Iberia and KLM.
- From the principal cities in Latin America there are direct flights that depart from México, San Jose de Costa Rica, Panamá, Bogotá and Caracas (Colombia), Quito and Guayaquil (Ecuador), Santiago (Chile), Buenos Aires (Argentina), La Paz (Bolivia), Sao Paulo and Río de Janeiro (Brazil).

BY LAND
You can arrive by land through Ecuador, Bolivia or Chile.
- Ecuador: From Quito or Guayaquil you will need to cross Aguas Verdes (Tumbes) by the Pan-American Road and La Tina (Piura) from the city of Loja.
- Bolivia: There is a regular transportation from La Paz and Copacabana to Desaguadero and Kasani (Puno).
- Chile: From Chile the majority of the buses leave from Arica to Santa Rosa (Tacna) with connections to Arequipa or Lima.
BY RIVER
The only point of entry into Peru is by the Amazon River from the city of Iquitos (Peru), where Private Touristic Boat Services arrive from the city of Leticia (Colombia) and Tabatinga (Brazil).
BY LAKE
The Titicaca Lake connects from Guaqui (Bolivia) to Puno (Peru). The access from Guaqui to Desaguadero (Puno) is by land.
BY SEA
Some cruise lines offer itineraries with ports of call in Peru. These stops are in the principal port of Callao (30 minutes from Lima). Other ports: Salaveryy (La Libertad) and Chimbote (Ancash) in the north and San Martin (Ica), Matarani (Arequipa) and Ilo (Moquegua) in the south.
